Somegood Granny Sweater English
Somegood Granny Sweater English
The Somegood Granny Sweater is knit in stockinette stitch from top to bottom. First, the back is worked in rows, casting on stitches for the neck and shaping the back with short rows.
Next, stitches for the right and left shoulders are picked up and worked separately until they are joined for the front. The front and back pieces are then combined and knit in the round to form the body, continuing until the sweater reaches the desired length.
For the sleeves, stitches are picked up around the armhole and knit in the round. The collar is picked up along the neckline and worked as a standing collar.
